Course Description: Step outside, take a deep breath, and let the natural world spark your creativity. In this welcoming workshop, we’ll explore how the outdoors can shape and inspire our poems and stories. Together, we’ll wander through poetry, fiction, and nonfiction, experimenting with different ways to bring landscapes, wildlife, and weather to life on the page. Each session will include readings, fun writing prompts, and plenty of time to share and celebrate your work in a supportive community. Whether you’re new to writing or looking to refresh your creative practice, Nature Writing 101 will help you slow down, notice more, and transform your experiences with nature into powerful, memorable writing.
